Easter Island TOUR ITINERARY

See the silent stone sentinels of Easter Island – along with an Annular Eclipse on this

small group tour! With a minimum of 5 people to a max of 13 people. Private

transportation and touring included on this island wide adventure! Our adventure begins

and ends in Easter Island. We are using the island’s #1 tour company for these private

tours! You will be amazed!

Welcome with a flower necklace lei and Transfer in from Mataveri Airport to Hotel O'Tai – your base for the next 6 nights! This centrally located hotel with a swimming pool and beautiful gardens is a short walk to the main street of Hanga Roa. Lots of restaurants, shops, and activities nearby. Hotel O’Tai features 42 rooms, and they have a Safe, Refrigerator, Air conditioning, Private Bathroom, and Hair Dryer. Breakfast is included each day!

Watching the sun gently sink into the Pacific Ocean is one of Easter Island’s natural

highlights, and with the iconic statues in the foreground, it can make for a memorable

experience. Your guide will take you to both Ahu Tahai and Ahu Akapu (Hanga Ki’oe),

with the former being very popular amongst visitors each evening, and the latter nearly

always deserted. You can then choose where you’d rather watch the sunset from!

This one-day, classic Easter Island tour, covers the entire coastal road of the island,

taking in some of its most majestic sites. Unlike other tour companies, we take you

around the island in a clockwise direction, giving optimal light conditions at Rano

Raraku and Ahu Tongariki in the afternoon!

Full Day tour - Lunch not included:

This culturally fascinating tour covers the inland trail as well as the dramatic Southwest

corner of the island. See how the landscape changes as you leave the coast, including

a visit to the largest inland platform, Ahu Akivi. The tour culminates at the spectacular

extinct crater of Rano Kau, and the former ceremonial village of Orongo – the site of the

Birdman Competition.

We may view the Annular Eclipse from Tahai –

which is within walking distance from our hotel. We will have vehicles to drive you there along

with any equipment! If the weather looks better elsewhere – we can easily move to

another location. We will have availability of vehicles and a guide for 6 hours as

timings and conditions dictate. Our goal is to view the Annular Eclipse near Moai!

Full Day tour - Lunch not included:

This is a third full-day tour that takes in many of the island’s ‘hidden gems’, sites that are

difficult to find without a guide and which greatly rewards the traveler hoping to see as

much as possible. The tour is done by vehicle, with short amounts of walking at each

site, and is another tour that we have devised ourselves and are the only company

currently offering it.

Sunrise at Ahu Tongariki is an unforgettable experience and something that every

visitor should consider viewing at least once during their stay. This tour provides the

opportunity to revisit one of the island’s most majestic archaeological sites but in

completely different light conditions.

AFTERNOON FREE – Perhaps Anakena for the Beach! Enjoy time in Hanga Roa! It is

your decision!

Morning at leisure followed by transfer out to Mataveri Airport for flight back to

SCL airport. (Flights are not included in the tour price.)
